Impressive Taino large stone pendant cemi in brown stone with a skelletal human figure.
It features a skelleton / human cemi with linear decorations on head ribs, hands and legs, features detailed teeth and small holes depicting the spine on the back.
This figure is male as it feautures a detailed penis on the front of about 1/8" in size.
Pendants like this one where used by the Taino people during rituals and other activities.
This piece comes from a Taino antique collector in Puerto Rico.
