Impressive Taino large stone pendant cemi in brown stone with a human cemi figure.
It features a human cemi with linear decorations on head ribs, hands and legs, features detailed teeth and a small hole depicting the navel.
This figure has it's hands on the air above it's hand suggesting some sort of worship or religious activity
This figure is male as it feautures a detailed penis on the front of about 1/2" in size.
Pendants like this one where used by the Taino people during rituals and other activities.
This piece comes from a Taino antique collector in Puerto Rico.
